Cheeses served with crackers and savoury jelly

A "Proper" cheddar! Rich, full bodied, intense, yet creamy, with a lingering nutty finish. It’s everything you want from a lovingly matured Somerset cheddar.

This has something of the texture and flavour of Comté to it. Made at the Lynher Valley dairy that also makes Cornish Yarg, matured for 16 months giving it an intense Gruyère like flavour.

Known for its fine natural white rind, smooth tender body and fresh nutty flavour.

Guernsey cow’s milk cheese from Somerset washed in Somerset cider brandy making it pungent with a lovely golden hue.

From the village of Long Clawson in Leicestershire, a great balance between crumbly texture and tangy flavour.

Sunday roast

Classic roasts with all the trimmings are available on Sundays only and only to inside tables; sadly we sometimes run out later on in the afternoon.

Roast loin of Devon pork served with apple sauce, crackling, roast potatoes and all the trimmings £ 17.50 (not available in December as the roast turkey will be available instead!
